9% of ticket price + $0.99
Applied to every paid ticket
• Discounts don't reduce the platform fee.
• Free RSVP tickets always show a $0 fee.
You control this per event. Switch anytime; new orders will follow your latest choice.
Attendee covers fee
We add a "Service fee" line during checkout so buyers see the total upfront.
Organizer covers fee
Buyers pay the ticket price only; the fee is deducted from your payout.
Fee: 9% + $0.99 = $1.89 → Buyer pays $11.89; your payout is based on $10.00 minus Stripe processing.
Fee: 9% + $0.99 = $5.94 → Buyer pays $55.00; your payout is reduced by $5.94 (plus Stripe processing).
Payouts
Stripe sends funds on their standard schedule—check exact dates from your Stripe dashboard.
Refunds
Start them from the Gatekeep dashboard; Stripe handles the rest automatically.
Receipts
Buyers receive a clean breakdown of ticket price and fees immediately after checkout.
