Wallet passes follow your ticket

Your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass now updates once you are checked in at the door, and comes back if a scanner reverses the check-in. Tickets for a canceled event no longer add a live pass, and the Wallet button says the event was canceled instead of showing a generic error.

August 18, 2026
FixedAttendees

Wallet errors now show a recovery page

If adding tickets to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet fails, including after a confirmation tab has been open too long, you now see a short recovery page instead of a technical error. Use the Wallet button in your confirmation email, or the QR code there, if the page says to.

August 18, 2026
FixedOrganizers

Ticket type editor stays reachable

When you add or edit a ticket type, the form now scrolls inside the dialog and Cancel and Save stay on screen, so you can finish creating tickets on short screens and zoomed browsers.

August 18, 2026
FixedAttendees

Order confirmation tickets stay readable

Long attendee names and emails on the order confirmation page no longer run into the QR code. Calendar and Wallet actions now live in one Quick actions section, and we explain when Apple Wallet is not available on your browser.

August 17, 2026
ImprovedAttendees

Wallet links no longer carry your ticket access in the URL

Adding tickets to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from an order page no longer puts your order access in the web address, so it cannot be copied out of browser history or a shared link. The Wallet buttons work exactly as before.

August 17, 2026
ImprovedOrganizers

Venue alcohol is not a listing restriction

The prohibited-items policy now states that alcohol served or sold by a licensed venue at your event is not a Gatekeepers transaction. Licence-gated rules apply only when you sell alcohol through a Gatekeepers listing.

August 17, 2026
FixedOrganizers

Shared event links show your flyer again

Sharing an event link on social apps and chat shows the event flyer in the link preview again. Previews for recently uploaded flyers had been falling back to a plain dark card.

August 17, 2026
ImprovedAttendees

Your order confirmation link no longer carries checkout access in the address

After you pay, the confirmation page address no longer includes the checkout session that unlocks your tickets. That access is kept in a private browser cookie for a short time, so it cannot be copied out of history or a shared link. Your tickets still appear the same way.

August 16, 2026
NewAttendees

Save event details to your calendar

Order confirmations, RSVP tickets, transferred tickets, and receipt emails now link to a downloadable calendar event and Google Calendar, including the venue. The download also sets a reminder two hours before the event.

August 15, 2026
ImprovedAttendees

Wallet passes are easier to spot after every order

Apple Wallet and Google Wallet actions now use their official badges on order and transferred-ticket pages and in receipt emails. Free RSVP confirmations now offer the same Wallet options when your tickets are eligible.

August 14, 2026
NewAttendees

Add a transferred ticket to Apple or Google Wallet

After you accept a ticket someone sent you, you can add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from that ticket page. The pass uses the same QR as the page. Do not share it: whoever is scanned first gets in.

August 14, 2026
NewAttendees

Save your tickets to Google Wallet

After you buy tickets, you can save them to Google Wallet from the order success page. One tap adds every active ticket in the order. Show the pass at the door — it uses the same QR as the page. Do not share it: whoever is scanned first gets in.

August 14, 2026
ImprovedAttendees

Clearer privacy details for event reports

The privacy policy now explains how event reports and listing screening are handled, and the report form notes that your email is only used to follow up.

August 14, 2026
ImprovedAttendees

Report an event with a reason and your email

The report link on an event page now asks you to pick a reason, add optional details, and leave an email so we can follow up. The old full-width button is a small link under the flyer.

August 14, 2026
NewAttendees

Add your tickets to Apple Wallet

After you buy tickets, iPhone and iPad (and Safari on Mac) can add them to Apple Wallet from the order success page. One tap adds every active ticket in the order. Show the pass at the door — it uses the same QR as the page. Do not share it: whoever is scanned first gets in.

August 12, 2026
FixedOrganizers

RSVP tickets stay free when you edit them

Editing a ticket type on an RSVP event no longer lets you type a price. Those tickets stay free, matching how they work when you create them.

August 12, 2026
ImprovedOrganizers

Publishing now asks you to confirm prohibited items

You can no longer publish an event while a ticket type or merch item still needs the prohibited-items confirmation. If something is missing, publish names the items so you can open each one, tick the box, and try again. Ticket types created before that confirmation existed are the usual case — editing them to attest is enough.

August 10, 2026
NewOrganizers

A plain list of what you cannot sell

There is now a prohibited-items page spelling out what can never be sold on Gatekeepers, what needs a licence first, and what happens if you get it wrong. It mirrors Stripe's restricted-businesses rules, because Stripe processes your payments. When you create a ticket type or a merch item you now confirm it does not include or grant access to anything on that list, including handing one over free with a ticket, which counts as selling it. Duplicating an event or cloning a merch item asks the same thing for the copy. The Terms now carry the rule too, so you will be asked to accept them once more.

August 9, 2026
FixedAttendees

Join a waitlist without signing in

Joining the waitlist for a sold-out event no longer asks you to sign in first. The form on the event page now submits straight through for anyone, signed in or not.

August 9, 2026
NewAttendees

Put a name on each ticket, or send one to a friend

Bought tickets for other people? On your order page you can now name the person on each ticket, or send a ticket to them outright. Sending emails them a link to accept it; until they do, nothing changes and you can cancel. Once they accept, they get their own fresh code and yours stops working, so two people can never show up with the same ticket. Your own copy says clearly that it was transferred instead of showing a code that would fail at the door.

August 9, 2026
FixedAttendees

Lost your approval link? The resend works again

If an organizer approved your request and you lost the email, the recovery form on the event page said it had sent one but never did. It now sends. As before, the link goes only to the address on the approved request, so nobody can use the form to send your link somewhere else.

August 6, 2026
ImprovedAttendees

Your total and next step stay on screen while you buy

On phones, checkout now keeps a bar pinned to the bottom of the screen with your ticket count, running total, and the next step, so no more scrolling past every tier and add-on to find the button. Event pages also get a "Get tickets" shortcut that jumps straight to the ticket list.

August 6, 2026
ImprovedAttendees

Pop-ups slide up from the bottom on phones

On phones, forms like joining a waitlist or requesting access now open as a bottom sheet you can swipe down to dismiss, instead of a box floating in the middle of the screen. Long forms scroll inside the sheet and clear the home indicator. Nothing changes on larger screens.

August 6, 2026
ImprovedAttendees

Tap your ticket QR to fill the screen

Tap the QR code on your ticket to blow it up full screen on a bright white background, so it scans fast at a dark door. Your screen stays awake while it is open, and a tap anywhere closes it.

August 6, 2026
ImprovedOrganizers

Dashboard lists work on a phone

Every dashboard list now works on a phone. The guest list, orders, events, waitlist, purchase requests, promo codes, scanner codes, and affiliate revenue each show as cards with the fields that matter and their row actions in reach: check in a guest, refund an order, or revoke a scanner code without scrolling sideways. The full tables are unchanged on larger screens. The purchase-request status filter now lives in the URL, so a filtered view can be shared and the back button works.

August 6, 2026
ImprovedOrganizers

Event progress stays in view on phones

While creating an event on a phone, the bottom bar now shows how many setup items are ready and the next best step. Tap it to open the full readiness checklist without scrolling past the form. Larger screens keep the side rail.

August 5, 2026
FixedAttendees

Private events open from their link

Events set to Private (unlisted) can be opened and purchased by anyone with the direct link again, while staying out of public discovery.

August 5, 2026
ImprovedAttendees

Smoother checkout on phones

Checkout no longer zooms in when you tap a field, name and email autofill, quantity buttons and answer options are easier to hit, and toasts and sticky headers clear the notch on modern phones.

August 5, 2026
ImprovedOrganizers

Event overview updates as sales come in

Tickets sold, gross revenue, pending requests, scanner codes, and the ticket-type sales table on an event overview now update on their own as orders land, so no more refreshing during the door rush.

August 3, 2026
ImprovedAttendees

Safer approved-ticket purchase links

Approved-ticket links now open a private Continue step and keep the resulting checkout authorization scoped to that event, while paid and free approved purchases prevent the same approval from being spent twice.

August 3, 2026
NewAttendees

Recover an approved ticket link

If an approved-ticket purchase link expires or goes missing, you can now request fresh eligible links from the event page using the same email as your request. Organizers can also request a reissue from the purchase-request list.

August 2, 2026
FixedOrganizers

Purchase request approvals are available again

Organizers can once again approve pending ticket purchase requests and send guests a link to complete their restricted-ticket purchase.

August 1, 2026
NewOrganizers

Merch sold report, CSV export, and safe delete

Your event merch manager now shows a sold report of what actually checked out (succeeded online and door sales, not pending or refunded orders), with a CSV export for pick lists. Never-sold items and variants can be permanently deleted after a confirmation; anything that sold, is in a pending checkout, or cannot be verified stays deactivate-only, and inactive items stay hidden until you turn on Show inactive.

August 1, 2026
NewOrganizers

Set a merch limit per order for each event

Event settings now let you cap how many merch items a buyer can add to one order (1–20), or leave blank for the platform default of 4. Checkout and door sales both honor the limit, and free promotional merch ($0 variants) can ride along on a paid ticket order without charging a Stripe line item.

August 1, 2026
FixedOrganizers

Clearer merch catalog truncation notices

When a merch item has more variants than the dashboard can show, the host merch manager now says variants are truncated instead of implying the whole item list was cut off.

August 1, 2026
NewOrganizers

Hide a ticket type when it sells out or sales close

Ticket types can now be set to disappear from the event page once they sell out or sales close, instead of showing as sold out. Useful when you only want remaining options visible to buyers.

August 1, 2026
NewOrganizers

Track merch handoff at the door scanner

Door staff on the web scan page can see merch on a ticket after a scan or from search, then mark how many units were handed over. Collected counts stick per order line so the next scan shows what is still outstanding.

August 1, 2026
FixedOrganizers

Merch pickup shows on the full door guest list

The door guest list now includes purchased merch counts on every row, so staff can open merch collect without searching first.

August 1, 2026
ImprovedAttendees

Search long checkout question lists

When an organizer asks a single-choice or multi-select question with many options, checkout now shows a searchable list instead of a long scroll of radios or checkboxes. You can type to filter, and for multi-select remove choices from chips under the field. Buying more than one ticket? Answer once on the first ticket and use Apply to all tickets to copy that answer across the rest. Each ticket stays editable afterward.

August 1, 2026
ImprovedAttendees

Easier merch picking at checkout, and your answers on the confirmation page

Event merch at checkout now starts as compact rows you can expand for sizes and options, with a search box when the catalog is large so you can find an item without scrolling every variant. After a paid checkout, the order confirmation page shows the custom question answers you submitted for each ticket.

August 1, 2026
ImprovedOrganizers

Paste a list to add question options or merch variants

Checkout questions and merch inventory now support paste-a-list authoring: drop in dozens of options or variant names at once instead of opening a dialog for each. Question options include a Dietary preferences starter list, and merch gets shared price/quantity generation, inline variant edits, item and variant clone, optional pickup instructions, and free ($0) pricing in the host dashboard.

July 31, 2026
FixedAttendees

Ticket availability updates live while you browse

Event pages now follow ticket availability as it changes. If someone else takes the last ticket while your page is open it turns to sold out (with waitlist entry when the organizer has it on) and it becomes purchasable again as soon as that checkout is abandoned, without a refresh. A ticket you already picked is updated with a note if it sells out first, so far fewer checkouts fail at the last step. Buy-one-get-one tickets also show as sold out when too little stock is left to include the bonus ticket, instead of showing as available with a disabled button.

July 30, 2026
NewOrganizers

Hosted ticketing pages for every event

Every event now has a commerce-first /tickets page organizers can link from their own sites. Buyers see the event flyer, host, date, and tickets right away with a lightweight secure-checkout header: same purchase flow as the full event page, without competing with it for search.

July 30, 2026
ImprovedOrganizers

Organizer logos and merch photos upload larger and load faster

Logo and merch uploads now accept files up to 10MB and are resized and compressed automatically before they are saved, so product cards and organizer avatars load faster without you exporting a smaller copy first.

July 30, 2026
NewOrganizers

Embed ticket cards and buttons on your own site

Each event workspace now has an Embed tab with paste-ready HTML for a full ticket card or a compact Get tickets button. Copy either snippet into Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, or any custom site. Links open your hosted ticketing page. Draft events show previews only until you publish; password-protected events warn that buyers still need the password.

July 29, 2026
Improved

Privacy policy updated for accuracy

The privacy policy now spells out how long pending scan records stay on a scanner device, exactly which draft events are erased when an organizer deletes their account, that the Organizer app has no in-app analytics toggle yet, and that Gatekeepers may in the future send organizers marketing emails about its own products, with an opt-out in every such email.

July 26, 2026
NewOrganizers

Delete your account from the organizer app

Account → Delete account in the organizer app removes your profile, logo, sign-in, and draft events. Confirming turns off selling, refunds, messaging, event edits, check-ins, and staff scanner codes straight away, but nothing is erased for 30 days. Cancel before then and everything is restored. You cannot start a deletion while an upcoming event still has ticket holders, so cancel or finish those first. Order and ticket records are kept for tax and dispute obligations, and your Stripe account stays yours to close.

July 24, 2026
ImprovedOrganizers

Flyer uploads are resized automatically

Upload the flyer straight off your camera roll. We now resize and compress it in your browser before it is saved, so your event pages load faster without you exporting a smaller copy first. Flyers need to be a JPG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF file up to 10MB; GIF and SVG are no longer accepted. Flyers you uploaded before this change are unaffected.

July 24, 2026
Improved

Event flyers load much faster

Explore cards and event pages now serve resized, compressed flyer images instead of full-resolution uploads, so listings open faster on phones and slower connections.

July 23, 2026
ImprovedOrganizers

Clearer Organizer app privacy details

Our privacy policy now explains the Organizer app’s camera and selected-photo access, protected scanner and draft storage, offline scan synchronization, device identifier, analytics, and diagnostics.

July 23, 2026
New

Online and hybrid events with private access links

Hosts can mark an event as in person, online, or hybrid and paste a Meet, Zoom, Teams, or YouTube Live link. Visitors see that an event is online or hybrid, and confirmed attendees get the private join link on their order confirmation. Gatekeepers delivers access; you still run the meeting on your video platform.

July 10, 2026
FixedOrganizers

Every event text now fits in one message

All four SMS templates are shorter, so a normal event name and venue no longer push a message over the limit. Venue change in particular was often too long to send at all. The character counter now warns you when an emoji or curly quote shortens the limit, and long messages are blocked before they send rather than after.

July 10, 2026
ImprovedOrganizers

A clearer SMS messages screen

The event SMS screen now previews your text the way attendees receive it, with a live character meter against the 160-character limit. Message types are pickable tiles instead of clipped previews, and the recipients panel leads with how many people will actually get the message, then explains who is excluded and why.

July 10, 2026
Fixed

Ticket editing and long event titles work better on small screens

Long ticket forms now scroll inside the screen on phones so their save actions stay reachable, while long event names scale down first and keep character-level wrapping as an overflow safety net.

July 9, 2026
FixedOrganizers

A smoother organizer dashboard on phones

Dashboard tables, filters, event tabs, and long event titles now stay contained and reachable on smaller screens, and personal profile edits no longer remount the profile page repeatedly.

July 9, 2026
ImprovedOrganizers

Clearer navigation inside each event

Event tools are now grouped by job (Build, Sales & guests, Promote & engage, and Event day) with a side rail on desktop and a Manage event menu on phones. Checkout questions keep the same URL with a clearer label.

July 9, 2026
NewOrganizers

Add checkout questions while creating an event

When creating an event, you can optionally configure the same checkout questions you already manage after creation (free text, single choice, multi-select, and yes/no), including required answers and ticket targeting. If cover, ticket, or question setup fails after the event is saved, you can retry those steps without creating a duplicate event.

July 8, 2026
NewOrganizers

Delete draft events from your dashboard

Draft events now have a confirmed delete action in the event workspace and events list, so organizers can permanently remove unpublished drafts they no longer need.

July 7, 2026
NewOrganizers

Read and export your checkout question responses

The Questions tab now shows response totals per question and a per-attendee answers table, while preserving the wording used for existing answers. CSV export stops before returning an incomplete file when an event exceeds the export limit.

July 6, 2026
NewAttendees

Answer event questions at checkout

When an organizer adds custom questions, buyers now answer them per ticket during paid checkout and RSVP, with required answers collected before the order is placed.

July 6, 2026
NewOrganizers

Ask buyers custom questions at checkout

Add a Questions tab to any event to collect extra details at checkout: free text, single choice, multi-select, or yes/no. Mark questions required, reorder them, and target specific ticket types or all tickets.
