How Stripe Connect is used

Gatekeepers relies on Stripe Connect to process payments and route funds to organizers. Your payouts, refunds, and tax reporting all run through your connected Stripe account.

What you manage in Gatekeepers

  • Ticket pricing & fees. Decide who covers platform fees and configure ticket prices per event.
  • Refunds. Start refunds from the Gatekeepers dashboard; Stripe handles the actual payment reversal.
  • Scanner access & orders. Manage orders, tickets, and check-in status in one place.

What you manage in Stripe

Some settings always live in Stripe so they're consistent across any tools you use with your account.

  • • Bank accounts and payout schedule
  • • Tax forms and legal entity details
  • • Dispute handling and chargeback responses

Need to change Stripe settings?

Open your Stripe dashboard to update payout details, view reports, or manage disputes. Changes you make in Stripe apply automatically to Gatekeepers.
